In this issue
Muse: Salted Butter
Alli and I met at a pizza place.
Years later, we ran a bakery out of one.

Foodie Folk is where we spent the graveyard shift six days a week—turning dough and dreams into pastries for over a dozen of San Diego’s best coffee shops.

She stepped away at an all-time high to raise our kids.
No curtain call. No fanfare. Just love, re-prioritized.
Not long after, she launched a weekly newsletter called Salted Butter.
Unfussy recipes. Soulful stories. Just enough magic to make the kitchen feel like a place you wanted to be, not had to be.

After some time away Salted Butter is back. Her first new issue drops this Thursday.
You’ll want in on this. Trust me.
If food’s your thing, this is for you. If it’s not? Then it’s especially for you.
Because Alli doesn’t just cook—she converts. Quietly. Completely.
Print: FOOD (and a giveaway!)
We’re offering this week’s piece in just one size. It’s perfect for a wall in your kitchen, or even hung up on the fridge. As a launch-week surprise: We’re giving away 3 cutting boards!
If you buy this week’s print and and sign up for Salted Butter before Thursday you’re automatically entered. Three random orders will get a board tossed in, on the house.
So what are you waiting for?

One More Announcement
We’re so excited to share that Zach and fam welcomed Baer to the world last Friday! Everyone is happy and healthy. Jedi training has already begun.
Safe to assume we will have a series of kiddo-centric themed designs coming down the pipe in the not so distant future.

Creator Notes: Mitchell Timberworks
This week’s giveaway wouldn’t be possible without our friend and longtime collaborator, Clayton Mitchell of Mitchell Timberworks.
Clayton lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, two kids, and three dogs—and what began as a hobby in a shed has grown into a full-blown workshop and a craft he’s poured himself into since 2017.
We’ve worked with Clayton on several high quality handcrafted projects over the years, and these Salted Butter cutting boards are no exception—each one made with the same pride, precision, and soul that defines everything he touches.

Quick Note: Shipping
We ran into a slight delay with our paper supplier (the good stuff is worth the wait), but everything’s back on track. If you ordered one of our earlier prints and haven’t received it yet, rest assured all outstanding orders will be in transit by the end of the week.
Much love,
